Photos

Pylon balloons.

Gang of Four being gangly and fourish.

X rocking the hell out, no matter how old they are.

John Doe's face. In your face.

The Professor (of the Woggles) even more in yer face.

We called this girl Barbie all night.

Anthemic or something. Arms very raised.

The other three go-go dancers. Note that the girl in the middle is a fembot. Also, if you look up at Barbie's palms, she was clearly applying self-tanner to the other girls earlier.

Almost Jesusy starburst Woggles photo. Power of Christ compels you to like them.

Zombies. Not exactly rocking out. But doing a nice, graceful job.

Rod Argent providing the Satan to the Woggles' light.

Out Out Outie (Podcast 20)

Don't we get a diamond ring for hitting 20?

Awesome music this time was "Crazy" (at the top of the show) and "Stop It" (at the bottom), both by Pylon, who have a myspace and a rock-ass website. The latter has some actual good photos of the first reunion show we talked about.

Congrats to Mostly ITP for their award thingie.

The state insect of Georgia is the honeybee. They exist in Denmark.

Firefly is a TV show.

This is the Little Steven's page. It will play music at you.

Here's the site for The Woggles. And the one for The Mooney Suzuki. And a fan page on The Zombies.

There is recent video of the latter at www.rodargent.com. And old video of both "She's Not There" and "Tell Her No" at YouTube. You can even see Colin Blunstone doing the weird thing with his hands in the latter, which means he's been doing it for about 40 years now.

Jared provides this link to a podcast that features 60s garagey type stuff and Athens music. Double cool.

Photos next. Which means above.

What did I forget to link?

Some motherfuckers' blogs, that's what.

Put Us on Speakerphone (Podcast 18)

Holy shit, we finally recorded anudder one.

Bugs Eat Books provided the music for this show at both ends, but Jared hasn't told me what songs he used, and it's early in the morning and I haven't had enough coffee yet to be motivated to find out. Their album, which we forgot the name of, is Ghosts of Leaves. You can buy it here. There's a bit of info on them at the HHBTM site and they also have a myspace. Also, a show upcoming Oct. 20 at the Caledonia Lounge in Athens, along with some other musicians featured on the podcast.

A site that answers a key question. It was not the Roger Rabbit. I stand corrected.

The imdb page for Sars Wars.

Therefrigerator.com will redirect you here. If you dot net it, it will take you here. This is the amazing signs section.

Agh. Grape knives!

The Canadian Tomato Project. And the Great Canadian Tomato Fight.

This is Morris Brandon's website. It didn't exist when Jared went there.

If you know nothing, here are links for Isaac Hayes, Maynard Jackson, and Jasmine Guy. If you're just not from metro Atlanta, here is Monica Kaufman and her hair.

A recreation of what the DeLorean convention looked like. Wikipedia will tell you the sad history of the company.

Anything we forgot to link? I'm going to try to fix the sitch so you can comment if not a member.

Photographic evidence

These are Big Chicken photos. Mr. Brown is posing in the one on the right. I believe that is my thumb.

A cake-cutting photo from our wedding.

This is from the wedding shower I was thrown by Jared's family.
